VR Program: Site Visit to General Electric Aviation Facility
Learning about technology and employment opportunities in the aviation sector
2nd February saw our VTOC students take a trip to the GE Aviation facility in Subang Airport for a tour of the facilities, and receive a glimpse into about what it's like to work in the aviation sector. The tour was followed by a briefing from SHRDC (Selangor Human Resource Development Centre) about employment opportunities in aviation, as well as a sharing session with a panel of GWEN (GE Womens' Network) about women in the engineering field.
All in all, it was an informative and enjoyable day out for the girls. We look forward to further partnerships!
